Who (by generation) uses credit cards the most?
A survey was conducted by Rakuten asked 1000 people what kind of payment they use (multiple choice answer).
On the left, it shows “men in their 20s” to “men in their 60s” in the top and “women in their 20s” to “women in their 60s” under. From this, we can say that the generation that seems to be using cashless payment the most is “men in their 40s”.
The biggest reason for this result might be because that’s the age credit card and other payment started to influence, and also, that’s the age that have to deal with most payment, for example, having to pay educational fees for their child.
This research was done in 2018.
